According to RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Russian payment system Mir, Mir cards are connected to the contactless payment services Mir Pay, SberPay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay in the normal mode.
Last week, the Mir payment system reported that it was receiving a large number of requests to add Mir cards from different banks to mobile payment services, and therefore their connection may take longer.
Russian banks began to connect Mir cards to the Apple Pay service in the summer of 2021. So far, 31 organizations have done so.
