NIDO Russia wishes you a Happy Russia day!
We want to use this opportunity to remind you that we have launched so many pilot projects that are beneficial to our members because we are committed to the socioeconomic developments of all Nigerians in Russia.
We also want to remind you about some great things about Russia that you may not know.
1. Russia is bigger than the famous ex-planet Pluto, with a surface area of 17.13 million square kilometers and spans two continents – Europe and Asia.
2. Red Square has nothing to do with communism. When Red Square (Красная площадь, Krasnaya ploshchad) was completed in the late 19th century, it was named Красный (krasny), which means ‘red,’ from the Old Slavic word for ‘beautiful.’
3. The US and Russia are just 4km apart
4. Russia has the longest railway in the world and on of the best subway/metro system in the world.
5. Volgograd is home to the tallest statue of a woman. Much respect.
